Veteran's Day 2013

Veteran's Day is one day a year set aside in what is supposed to be a day of remembrance and thankfulness to those that have served in our armed forces.
I personally, as I am sure many of you do, think about our veterans every single day. My father was in the USMC for twenty years... Semper Fi dad! My brothers all served in the Air Force and I have many friends and other family members that have served in the various branches of our armed forces.
One day a year is not nearly enough. These men and women as well as their families place their lives on the line and on hold to help keep this great country of ours safe. And they do not hear the words 'Thank you' and 'Your service is deeply appreciated' nearly enough in my opinion.
To all the men/women and their families of past/present and future military personnel I salute each and everyone of you and am thankful for the jobs you do and the sacrifices that you make each and everyday. It matters not that I do not know you I am still thankful for you and yours. You are truly a special breed and whether you know it or not there are many of people out there like myself that are thankful every single day for you.
On another note: Yesterday was also a special day the United States Marine Corps had their 238th birthday. To all the men and women of the USMC, I salute you. Semper Fidelis and Oorah Marine!
