I cried and am not ashamed to say that. This story made me think of all the dogs and cats that I have rescued and for the story to be told from the dog's view was just amazing. Brava Màiri Campbell Brava. I can't wait for more from this author!

My son and I read this story on our way home last night. It was beautifully written and was intriguing enough that it kept my 9 year olds attention from start to finish. It's written from the dogs point of view, which is really rad and you can't help but fall in love with the main character.

This was written by a writer who knew her subject intimately and personally. I loved that it was told from Angel's point of view and yes, I cried.

This book is a touching story written from the perspective of an abandoned dog at a shelter. It was very touching in that I really sympathized with her, and how she felt being left there. It has a wonderful ending so you should definitely read it! I really liked the Authors descriptions of the people and things happening around the dog; it really engage me in the story. I recommend this to any dog owner or lovers. Especially if they have, want to, or are unsure about adopting from a shelter.
