My husband and I were supposed to be in Graham this last Saturday for the Tacoma Highland Games but with the weather being typical Washington weather we didn’t go. Not because the wet would have bothered us but the hubby hasn’t been feeling well for a few days. Plus very little sleep then being out in the cold damp rain for more than eight hours was just not an option.
I’m going to try working on my novel Bewitched but one of the characters for the Forever Fey series has been talking to me. So we’ll see who is being the dominate one over the next couple days as that will decide if it is a new story that is worked on or if I get back to one that has been on the back burner for a bit.
The last week and a half has been a learning curve for me and it will be continuing for a bit. I am now working full time for a friend of mine. So things that I had never had to do while working the odd on-call hours for him I am having to learn as well as try and sort through and fix what the last person was just shuffling off to the side instead of doing her job. I am thankful that one of the guys is coming in and helping out with sorting the paperwork and getting things together that should be together. The other one is showing me how to input things into the specialty computer program that they have. I am having fun learning all the new things and my friend who owns the company is happy that he’s got a team willing to work together and we are doing things to hold everyone more accountable for what is done. I’ve even done some changes to his website to make certain things pop a bit more for him too. I think that was the part I liked the best so far. But I really enjoy changing up websites.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July whatever you decide to do this coming weekend I hope that you all have fun and that everyone gets home safe.
Enjoy and... HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!! You’re 238 years young!!!
