I have to say that I am overwhelmed with the all the support that I have been receiving in regards to working on the story about Sir David Callender Campbell that his wife Lady Ragnhild had started many many years ago.

Not only has Baron James Stuart-Stevenson gifted me with this wonderful opportunity by giving me this manuscript but all the others that I am meeting along this journey.

I was contacted by a distant relative of Sir David’s named Kate and since then I have been in contact with another distant relative of his named Ruth. They have both supplied me with family information as well as old family photos. Both of these women are very generous with answering questions and supplying me with old family photos.

I have also had the pleasure of talking with the English gentleman, Alan, that took the photo of the brass plaque about Sir David on the Isle of Malta and he has offered to take some photos of Lady Ragnhild Campbell’s headstone when he goes back to Malta in October.

And then there is the wonderful and amazing Shirin of Ballymoney Museum in Ireland. This woman is a true blessing and I hope to one day get the pleasure of meeting her in person. She is helping me find so much information and she has placed me in contact with another person, Kathleen, who has supplied me photos of Sir David’s headstone as well as some newspaper clippings so now I know what Sir David looked like.

All of these amazing people that are doing so many things to help me learn more about Sir David and Lady Ragnhild I do not even know where to begin in regards to thanking them all.

I am still gathering information about these two amazing people and waiting to get the transcribed manuscript back from my friends at Armchair ePublishing so that I can go through and do the edits I know will need to be completed.
