However, this magazine is known for promoting celebrities and other famous people that are not known as terrorist. By putting the image of Mr. Tsarnaev seems to glorify being a terrorist. I know that I am not the only one thinking this way regarding the image of choice.
I do wonder why those that are in charge of putting this magazine together did not instead choose an image of some of those wonderful first responders to this incident. Or an image of some of those that lost their lives because of this man and his brother. It would seem that choosing a photo along those lines instead of the image of a person deemed a terrorist would have been a much better thing to do.
There are places in Boston and the surrounding area that will not have the August issue of Rolling Stone Magazine available for purchase due to their choice of cover image. The Boston City Mayor wrote a wonderful to the point letter to the publisher of the magazine.
